ASTORIA PASTRY SHOP in Royal Oak winter lights

Night lights in Royal Oak, Michigan.

The light color is gradually changing into different one...  A cold night is colored blue and green when I press the shutter button.

Here it is!  ASTORIA PASTRY SHOP is also in Royal Oak! This is what I have been looking for since I visited the shop in Detroit.

It has an ambience. How wonderful it is, I could visit here in such a thrilling night!

Royal Oak is a city with a lot of students. It is a suburb in Detroit.

My heart is warm in the cold because I am with Collie.

I appreciate that he always goes out of his way to make sure I am comfortable when I'm together with him.

"If you want to eat it now, we can eat here.", he says.

To take away seems fine to me as he doesn't eat cake. But eating in this cozy place must be fun!

How tempting! I remember the deliciousness of Carrot Cake from this shop. I want to come back to ASTORIA PASTRY SHOP every time I visit Michigan.

Handmade!  Simply delicious!

My dream has been a cheesecake since I ate a small carrot cake (and it was soooo good!)

I'd like to...huh? Cheesecake is the same price as Strawberry Cheesecake?? Then I'll take Strawberry one. Is cake dough same, I wonder??

Collie "It looks same."

He got interested in "Key lime" Cheesecake. Wow...❤︎  So, he bought cakes for us.

I will show you 2 kinds of cheesecakes later when we eat at home.  See you then!

Powerful dark color! Royal Oak winter lights in Michigan

About 12-minute drive from Birmingham, yes! in Michigan -

We see the winter lights everywhere in the city of Royal Oak.

Dark green color is characteristic of this city!

Oh, how I love lighting displays all over town at this time of the year!

In Royal Oak, the several lights are all dark, and the feature is making this city shown differently from other cities in Michigan.

I always appreciate Collie, my official ^^ photographer, voluntarily takes pictures of mine.
He often says, "Stand there, Rose.", and takes a quick photo smartly.

Although I have been in Michigan many times, I think it's the first for me to see Royal Oak Christmas lights.

Dark green, dark blue, red, and vivid pink...

See? Even light blue is dark over there!

It was a mind winter evening. Of course it's cold, but there were no snow I expected in this season.

We will stay here for a while. There is a place Collie wants to take me to. People living in Michigan might have a guess, however, I save it till "after next time". I hope you'll come to visit me again here!
