ST. JOHN PAUL THE GREAT - one place in Michigan photographed by Collie

Collie, please don't feel lonely when you pray, when you are at church alone.
I believe we can live together in Michigan. We will pray together and care about each other soon.

I am in Tokyo and not with you. In return for the pictures you sent me, I want to share
https://youtu.be/20jU8PJDl04 with you. Please know, you are on my mind always. I love you.  Rose

Hi from Yurakucho area in central Tokyo

The restaurant is closed at 20:00, so after that, we chatted inside the station over drinks & snacks(nuts) which we bought at 7-eleven just nearby. Wearing coats protects us from the cold, no wind, well-ventilated in a large open place, feeling safe by a few security guards standing there. I liked seeing people enjoying their friendship like this. I thought it's one of the new normal we acquired naturally under corona regulation.

The way my hands look was shot somehow unique...but it is OK😅

The thing is...you can have a blast in any situations.

Happy Valentine's Day to Everyone!

In Japan, women give chocolates to men. I think Feb. 14th is still a day when a woman confesses her love to her special someone with a chocolate. A woman who already has a husband or a boyfriend gives him a chocolate.

On the other hand, fancy chocolate for myself as a treat is getting popular. Plus, a chocolate can be a small gift as a token of gratitude to people (both males & even females).

So I'm expressing my gratitude with a lovely chocolate picture, to everyone who visits my blog. (Sorry, it's a picture and not a chocolate itself, but...)   Let's open it!

Happy Valentine's Day to Everyone💚

How do you celebrate Valentine's Day in your country? In Europe and the United States, men give presents to women, such as chocolates, candies, flowers...right? We all have our own way to spend this day, and it's all right. Having said that, I wonder how it is like in Poland because Collie is Polish American, although he was born and raised in America. :3  I received a poetic message from him❤︎

Still cold, yet it's a sunny day and I feel the breath of spring these days.

May you always have a smile on your face, love in your heart and peace in your soul.

Also, celebrating Saint Valentine on this solemn day,
Rose

Falling asleep & leaning on a boyfriend's shoulder on the train.

I sometimes see a girl with her head resting on her boyfriend's shoulder on the train. A pleasant sight, but at the same time, I felt a little sad. It is like, making me realize, I am alone in Japan since a man I love lives in U.S.A.

However☆  When I was seeing a certain picture he sent me....

Wow! I'm leaning on him on the train...💖

I am like a girl who is sleeping on her boyfriend's shoulder in Japan. How sweet it is...!

That was a quick shot Collie took with his phone when he was sitting besides me on the subway in Tokyo. Was I falling asleep, or looking into us reflected on his smartphone? Both, haha😄

One picture healed my mind. That was a story I wanted to write to you today.

Be sure to bundle up,  Rose

What in the world is this? Kampin Kappeli (Kamppi Chapel), the Chapel of Silence in Helsinki, Finland.

Probably you wouldn't recognize it is a chapel at once, unless you were already provided with some information about it in advance.

What in the world is this?
Kampin kappeli   Simonkatu 7, Narinkkatori 00100 Helsinki
What in the world is this? You never know it's a chapel at a glance. It is located quietly aside on the Narinkka Square. I wanted to come inside, but I regrettably missed. I found it is available from 10:00 - 18:00 when I was trying to enter. It was about 18:20.

June 16, 2019. People sitting out must be Helsinki locals. Now we are facing Covid-19 pandemic and can't even think about traveling abroad, for a few years, perhaps?

The unique chapel is created by stacking layers of bent wood and also known as "Chapel of Silence." It is a place to calm down and have a moment of silence. I think it is a good thing a quiet place like this is being prepared every day for people who need a peaceful time in one of the busiest areas in Finland.

Photography is not allowed inside Kamppi Chapel, nor a whisper, considering people who visited here with a hope to be covered in silence.

I visited here again next day in the morning and came inside as I wished. Inside the rare creation, gentle light from the sky was shining softly. After spending a while, I left. It was a day I flied back to Japan.

You can look at the inside and see how the ceiling is at www.kampinkappeli.fi

Kamppi Chapel was opened to the public in June, 2012. You are free to visit the chapel during opening hours 10:00 - 18:00...every day!
Yours sincerely, Rose

The sophisticated at first glance yet strong flower. Is it like someone?

It is a pleasant surprise to me that the flower arrangement delivered to me about one month ago is still lively and giving me a comfort in my room during this time of isolation.

 The 2nd stage☆

The following picture was taken on December 26th when it was delivered to my apartment. Lately, switched over from several flowers that finished blooming, white & pale greenish white flowers started blooming. I wonder where so many buds were inside! I realize the buds had been waiting for their turn during purple/white roses and orange gerberas(maybe?) were blooming. How elaborately created this flower arrangement was!

 The 1st stage☆

The shape of the frilled white & pale greenish white flowers resembles rose's. I googled it, and is it Eustoma Lisianthus Double? I got very interested in this flower. While it looks clean and sophisticated, it is strong and amazingly long lasting! I felt a sense of intimacy. LOL

 The 2nd stage☆

Then what is this cute flower? I've never imagined an initial small bud would grow like this and bloom a pale pink flower. It is also pretty yet strong!

Dear friends, would you kindly let me know if you know the name of this pretty pink flower?

Though I don't have a physical strength, I am mentally and physically strong ultimately in the long run. However, I am a woman who feels happy when I am cared about. Got that, Collie!?

So everyone, I'm happy you visited my blog. Wishing you a wonderful week❤︎ Rose
