Holiday Season Greetings from Rose

Hi...  This is my last post in 2018.

I started my blog at Blogger in October 2018. I wish I could post my writing more, but it is difficult to do it on weekdays. I should be committed to continuing to improve my skill at the Advertising company. And that is what I can do in the present situation.

I still have a passion to write about Michigan. Though I'm not sure if the day I live in Michigan will come. During a festive season, I showed you how it was like in Tokyo through the pictures I took. It means a lot to me if you had fun to see those posts.

At an exhibition in December where two oil paintings my old boss drew were displayed as a part of it

Hoping you'll have a very merry Christmas and a wonderful New Year!

There are ups and downs. There are good times and bad times. It happens equally to all people.

People can't become affectionate with experiencing only easy occurrences to deal with. Sometimes you need to face a pain. The spirit and humanity grow by having various experiences including difficulty. And we have to remember.   - Life is full of solutions.

Let's make 2019 our year full of love and passion. See you again...

With my gratitude for people who visit my blog,
Rose

Grandeur illumination, "Starry Sky 2018〜2019" at YURAKUCHO MULLION

People often arrange to meet each other at YURAKUCHO MULLION.

This year, the square is decorated with a hundred thousand light bulbs, stars!

A sparkling gate we can see from Nov.8th, 2018 to Feb.14th, 2019, could be a little pleasure when we pass by at night.

I came to YURAKUCHO MULLION to watch a movie.

Then, the planetarium set up temporarily gave me an another opportunity to think about Christmas.

People await the annual celebration of the birth of Jesus, whose name means Savor...

Starry Sky expresses our hope, and a gate toward 2019.

I wait.

I silently wait for the New Year, gratefully accepting my boundless chance to challenge.

Chic and elegant. L'OSIER's Red Christmas Lights in Ginza.

It has never been advertised extensively. However, the red lights in the holiday season is ever more sophisticated than any other lights in Ginza.

I can see this lights again this year.

L'OSIER is a French restaurant that was established in Ginza, Tokyo in 1973.

I always just pass by... I don't think there will be a day for me to dine here. You know, it's expensive. So I am enjoying looking at the light. Simple red lights stand out on the contrary from other colorful decorations in Ginza.

It is located on the NAMIKI street which is the most gorgeous street in Ginza.

I sometimes walk through this street from my office to go shopping, to watch a movie, or just walk. It lifts me up. Wise way to refresh myself without spending money!

The white round flower on the street is made by lighting. You can see this everywhere on the NAMIKI street. I'm not sure how it comes out. Absolutely art and as if it were printed on the concrete.

L'OSIER has been awarded three stars in the Michelin Guide Tokyo 2019 issued on November 30, 2018. It shows that it is worth the trip to visit.

I will visit.

Even if I don't taste their dishes by an executive chef, looking at elegant red lights is worth it for me.

Owls, a Christmas tree, and the first day of Advent.

As well as owls comfort me at the desk in my company, there are more owls at my apartments, too.

The other day, I wiped the surface of those owls gently with a slightly wet cloth. Cute owls were put near my bay window so as to dry in the sun.

Intelligence - - - a white owl       Wisdom - - - a grey owl       Happiness - - - a brown owl

I named them.   I am with them both at work and at home.  Now, above owls are  -

High on the bookshelf.

With a small Christmas tree.  Tiny roses which Collie bought for me at Birmingham Art Festival are also together.

I put a small Christmas tree all year long. Can I? Because Christmas spirit should be always, all the year round. Yes,+°Christmas all through the year.+°

A journey of Advent started today. Let's light the first violet candle in our hearts by blessing our Advent thoughts, and sing 'O Come, O Come, Emmanuel.'

ANGELINA 〜the best mont blanc(chestnut cake) Coco Chanel loved〜

Hello, this is Rose.

I am spending time quietly in Tokyo. Still, I see everywhere Christmas decorations when I walk in town.

As I wanted to eat ANGELINA's Mont Blanc after a long while, I visited MARRONNIER GATE GINZA. You can buy it at the shop on the first floor. I am afraid to say, the cafe on the second floor will be closed in this December.

Salon de The Angelina is an old restaurant established in Paris in 1903. In Tokyo, we can have ANGELINA's Mont Blanc which chestnut paste is imported directly from France.

I ordered demi-sized(half-sized) original mont blanc♪
Black coffee in a foamy appearance is deeply rich in taste.

Many people describe that this is the best mont blanc in Japan. In the same way, I think it is the best one I've ever had in my life!

Fresh cream inside is wonderfully great taste.

Rich between chestnut paste and meringue. It melts in my mouth...⭐︎

And, once I tasted this thick chestnut paste, this is the REAL for me.

It is said that Coco Chanel loved ANGELINA's Mont Blanc.

No wonder.  It also became my passion.
