The best memory of SAINT JOSEPH, elegant Syrah from France.

When it comes to wine, I usually choose wines from Southern France.

In terms of a variety of red wine, my preference is Syrah❤︎

I was blown away by a mellow Syrah, SAINT JOSEPH!  The elegant taste was strongly impressed on my memory.

In Catholic worship, Our Lady means Maria. She is the Holy Mother of Jesus Christ.
St.Joseph is Maria's husband.

SAINT JOSEPH derives from that one of the vineyard of Cotes du Rhone Nord was possessed by Jesuits. The spicy, delicate taste drove me crazy...

(And yes, I do enjoy reasonable, yet fine wines from Southern France at home!)

Comfortable houses around Whistle Stop Diner in Birmingham, Michigan.

We strolled down the street from WISTLE STOP DINER, where we had a wonderful brunch😊

I stayed at airbnb several times in Birmingham. It was the most suitable idea since I can enjoy this walkable beautiful town while Collie is working.

The first time was Susan's house. It was a marvelous experience for me. I visited her again as a guest through airbnb. After she moved out to Detroit, I stayed at Rachel's airbnb house once. She was a friendly person, too.

But, at the 3rd airbnb, I went through a horrible experience😰  The host was a vicious woman. I'll never forget what she did to me😡  I don't even remember her name. Though it's in Birmingham, the house was rather close to Troy.

It led to my realization that it's time for a change. I quite using airbnb. Look on the bright side. I can save money, it is wise!

So many men, so many minds.

There are various people in Japan.  Likewise, there are various people in America.

If I want to come to Birmingham, I can ask Collie to take me here, such a brilliant city I am attracted.

I still believe there will be a lot of warm-hearted people throughout the world I've never seen.

Fresh! High quality! Delicious! WISTLE STOP DINER is Rose's favorite American Diner❤︎

When I come to Michigan, WISTLE STOP DINER is a MUST-visit for me!

I do love American food💕 It makes me feel excited!  I'm happy to come back here😁

We(^^) are visiting WISTLE STOP DINER in Birmingham♪

This is my fifth visit and for Collie, being involved in me...third visit. ww

Coincidentally, we both chose egg dishes for brunch.

These French Fries are my ideal.  It is the best French Fries I've ever had in my life.

They use 100% real salted butter, pure soybean oil, canola oil, and olive oil in the preparation of our food. That must be why I feel the food here is FRESH & LIVING.

A relaxing time in the late morning . . .

Collie's omelette was served with Whole Wheat, his choice of bread.  (Coffee is mine.)

All of the omelettes are made with 3 extra large eggs, cheese and include potatoes, toast and jelly.

Ham, cheese and peppers are familia food for him to buy or order, as he should choose usual ones to avoid big headaches which unfortunately happen to him sometimes.

As for bread, you can choose HOT or COLD.  Mine is HOT☆

All the sandwiches are served with fresh baked bread, with potato chips and dill pickles.

You can also add French Fries like me❤︎❤︎❤︎

My choice of bread is Rye.  Look at this fresh filling😍  Their homestyle cooking blows me away!

High quality, delicious food with friendly, five star service.

WISTLE STOP DINER is using local products and vendors whenever possible and reasonable.

Old-school American breakfast plus soups & sandwiches are offered in cozy, diner-style surrounds.

I like coming here.  One staff shows grateful kindness...and the other is briskly energetic etc...all are warm and friendly.  Comfort...  I think it expresses this American diner in Birmingham, Michigan.

Quietly shining in the darkness...

This is a small park in Downtown Oxford, Michigan. Please look at the orange words "OX" in the middle of the above picture. That is the restaurant we went to.

Collie ordered Heineken as usual, and mine is Bud Light Draft...as usual. www
Boy, I love smoothness and clearness of Bud Light!!!

Collie says he occasionally comes here to eat chicken salad after work. So, this night, I ordered it for myself. I haven't been here before. Instead, he tried a burger that he hasn't ordered.

All burgers are hand made with 100% angus beef.  How would your first try be....Collie???

Original Caesar Salad with Grilled Marinated Chicken

Fresh romaine leaf lettuce tossed with a traditional caesar dressing, croutons & freshly grated parmesan cheese, topped with nicely browned chicken.

Ohh I see how it is!  I am happy to know what he is eating when he comes here. :)

The OX Burger

A half pound of grilled angus beef topped with applewood smoked bacon & Swiss cheese.

Wow! It's a quite powerful burger, isn't it!?  A beef patty looks really juicy. :D

All burgers are served with lettuce, tomato, and pickle with Brioche Buns and French Fries.

I left some for Collie to have it at home. ^^

There was a women group who enjoyed talking each other with their meal and wine. It is like a manly sports bar, yet women can also feel at home. Waitresses seem to be polite and friendly. I think it is important at all restaurants. 

Spacious, modern gathering place offering local brews, traditional American grub and wood-fired pizza. (Wood-fired pizza?? I should try this, too!)

I am looking forward to visiting OX BAR & GRILL sometime again.
