Collie's Polish Food and mini whisker - Rose's Sushi and mini whisker

This month, Collie drove to Frankenmuth, which is one of his favorite town.  And he ate -

Polish Food😀

He had a day off from work...so took a 1-hour drive to walk around Frankenmuth, Michigan. First, he had a lunch at a Polish restaurant. He is like, it was good, but too much. He didn't eat such food in a long time. Surely it looks very filling💪

After that, he enjoyed walking around...

Recently he bought the 3-whisker pack from Meijer. Of course in one store in Frankenmuth, he found another cheaper, smaller whisker....but he didn't buy. The whisker seems pretty small. Mini tongs next to the left are also cute💚

The reason being is - I sent him organic Matcha through iHerb for his health. That's why Collie was looking for a proper small whisker to whisk hot water and Matcha powder in a cup.

These are 3-whisks he bought at Meijer.☺☺☺

I made him buy additional household items, but I'm hoping he will stay safe with health benefits of Matcha like, antioxidants, natural detoxification, vitamins, and relaxing etc.

On the same day in Japan, I dined out at Matsuya in Ginza, Tokyo.

I walked to the department store from my office after work. I usually work from home, and commute to the office once a work recently. That was a day I went to work.

The small one in the middle of the picture is my mini whisker at one dollar shop near my place. I was stirring my matcha with a spoon, but decided to buy mini whisker, followed in Collie.

His Matcha is a ceremonial grade, so he wanted to make it in a Japanese traditionally way as much as possible. I like that about him. I am writing my blog quietly at my place. Sigh...

Happy New Year 2022 from Rose

During this holidays, I've been gradually doing what I couldn't do in 2021, one of them was - organizing my photos on Google Photos, uploading photos I want to keep from USB almost 10 years ago! I should do this because there are a lot of photos taken in Michigan. They are my treasure forever.

And looking over home equipment instructions - it's too many and I need to continue doing this little by little in 2022 too.

Oh, and I made prescription glasses for PC near the end of the year at Zoff. I was impressed by how they gave me a vision test, which I had never experienced. It's fantastic! Now I need 1-2 weeks to get used to my new glasses. My left eye is significantly worse than my right eye. I hope my new glasses would be going well for my eyes.

Happy New Year !

I make ozoni in the New Year.  It's a Japanese traditional soup dish with rice cakes for New Year's.

Say hello to the world from Gotanda-city in Japan!

The pink lights express cherry blossoms alongside Meguro River. You can see real cherry blossoms that magnificently form a line all along the river in spring.

Every time I reheat the soup, I add other ingredients freshly, and add water, then adjusting the taste of the soup. It's kind of fun♫

Slowly but steadily.

I will try to proceed calmly this year. I appreciate that I can enjoy a few more days free from work.

May the year of 2022 bring you a lot of happiness and smiles, Rose

tiny chrysanthemum flowers that encouraged my family

In November, I took home chrysanthemum flowers that my mother brew. I shortened the length and arranged them in my favorite glasses.

I shared those pictures every weekend with my family, which surprised them, encouraged by long-lasting tiny flowers taken good care of. On Christmas Day, one white chrysanthemum. And it's still here now at my room. Thank you so much for being with me such a long time, and all you that had kept blooming at my place...

Many thanks for visiting my blog this year, too!   Let me close the 2021 with a following quotation.

When fear tries to against you,
you resist it with your words.
Say out loud,

"Jesus has not given me a spirit of fear,
but of power and love and a sound mind.

I will not be afraid because Jesus said not to.
I will remain calm and trust the Lord.

I will not fear."

Let's open up new prospects for the coming 2022 together!   Joy, Peace, Happiness and Love, Rose

Merry Christmas to everyone with Christmassy photos from Rose life!

I found it's Christmas. I haven't got a feeling of Christmas this year. I've been working hard, and like, it became Christmas before I knew it.

Yesterday, I knew  -

Christmas Day is not a day Christ was born, but a day we celebrate the birth of Christ.
"Christ"  "Mas" (Mass)

Christmas Eve is not 12/24, but 12/25 night.
"Christmas"  "Eve" (Evening)

This is the picture Collie sent to me in November. You who live in Michigan recognize where it is?

I talked with Collie using Google Meet. Later, he sent me several screenshots like these. Oooh, I'm laughing too much...(@@)  I didn't know about it.

Every year from November 1st, a Christmas tree is put up at the entrance of the building where my company is in. I didn't see many Christmas decorations in town this year, but this tree was a comfort when I came to work once a week these days.

I enjoyed a Christmassy cake at home❤︎  (raspberry cheesecake with pistachio cream on top)

May your world be filled with warmth and good cheer.

I couldn't post a blog very much lately, but I really appreciate your visiting my blog. This year 2021 was a great change for me because I purchased a condo in a big city. Though I miss my previous apartment where I lived for a long time, I am very thankful that I could timely have an opportunity to move in the room which interior design is my favorite.

Looking back, how did this year go for you?
May the gift of love and happiness be yours this season.
Merry Christmas!  Rose
