Plenty to eat at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit! My choice is 313 Burger♪

Start exploring Little Caesars Arena

Walking around the arena is also a fun event to experience American culture. As well as watching a Detroit Red Wings, the arena itself is a whole package to entertain visitors including foreign ones such as me.

Let's go to see eats and drinks at Little Caesars Arena!

Mike's Pizza Bar

Collie is checking whether it is a good place I can enjoy. We didn't try it since I was not in a pizza mood as it happened, but it seems a big restaurant. A tip for you, the pizza can also be ordered in the arena by the slice.

In addition to many concessions and bars inside, there are four restaurants open daily, accessible from outside the arena. Even when the arena isn't hosting an event, people can come to those restaurants. It is one of the unique things in District Detroit, the name for the area surrounding this arena.

Sports & Social Detroit

Collie is checking it out for us, rather, to make me happy. That's what I love about him.

(--)・・・❤︎     He is loyal.

Oh, sorry... Sports & Social Detroit offers guests a polished, modern dining room. I can tell, because Collie brought me inside to show me the atmosphere. "Rose, we can come here later if you like."

Instead, I decided to grab food so as to be at the seat when the game begins.

The District Market has various stations with food and beverages for sale. "313 Burger" I saw at some stations attracted my attention. I was in the mood for a burger that night.

Again, Collie is...

(--)❤︎❤︎❤︎

I like BUD LIGHT, but I found LABATT! I didn't expect I could taste draft LABATT here.  Happy..⭐︎

Looks yummy. (^^)  We brought our meal to the seats carefully.

Rose's 313 Burger Basket with Fries...and LABATT♪  Look at this creamy head!
The burger was really great!!!

Collie's must be Italian Sausage Dogs with Peppers and Onions. Is this New York style?? Peppers and Onions on Hot Dogs or Sausage Dogs are new to me.

We are enjoying our food at the seats in the arena. The game will start soon.

"HAPPY NEW YEAR HOCKEYTOWN" on the board.  It was the night of December 31, 2018.

Little Caesars arena & QLINE DETROIT on New Year's Eve 2018

Photographs capture memorable moments in life.

Little Caesars arena is one of them that emits photogenic lights at night. That night was special. People were gathering at the center of Detroit to spend the last day of 2018. We were here. Our purpose was watching an ice hockey game.

Collie always thinks about a plan to make me have a new experience when I visit. I haven't watched an ice hockey game aside from a movie(The Mighty Ducks).

It was raining. However, it shows it was not very cold for year-end night because there must have been a snow originally at this time of the year.

A shot from another side. Little Caesars arena is a multi-purpose arena in Detroit. It opened on
September 5th, 2017. Pretty new!

We hung around to enjoy the atmosphere of the year-end Detroit. Are people feeling comfortable excitement and tense just before the new year like we are?

QLINE DETROIT.   I didn't know about it.  It is also pretty new and opened on May 12th, 2017.

Then a chat is developed with people looking at the new system curiously. Yeah, it's new to us, too!

QLINE DETROIT is a streetcar system in Detroit, Michigan. It also goes to Campus Martius Park♪, although we could walk there. :)

It gave us free rides during the year-end and New Year's holidays.  Nice!
We didn't have time to do it, though. ^^;

The game will start soon. We entered into the arena to check our seats.

Collie once took me to the ice skating rink in Detroit to show me an international figure skating competition. It was my first time to watch it live.

This time, it is an ice hockey game.

Rose's Strawberry Cheesecake & Collie's Key lime Cheesecake

Hi, guys ~⭐︎

This is the Strawberry Cheesecake I got from ASTORIA PASTRY SHOP in Royal Oak.

I took it out carefully from the box so as to show you nicely, but a little bit messed up on the cut section...😅

Excellent box!

I chose Strawberry Cheesecake, and he chose Key lime Cheesecake, which is quite unusual as a cheesecake.

I know he is extremely fond of Key lime Greek yogurt. So it does make sense for him to want it😄

What a gentle green color this Key lime cheese cake has! He liked it very much, I am sure.

When I was earnestly trying to take a good shot of my cheesecake.....Collie was naughty...  (- -)

Look at the fork upper right on the above picture💢  Stop it, Collie!  I need to take another shot.

😁I got it~~~💕

ASTORIA's Cheesecake was so mellow and delicious that we ate it all, rather, couldn't leave it.

Cheesecake got our dinner.

Smiling...just being together in the warm house like this was our peaceful, happy moment.

WILD LIGHTS at the Detroit Zoo in Royal Oak, Michigan

The entrance

The place Collie was trying to take me to was Detroit Zoo!

It is located in Royal Oak and about 2 miles north of the Detroit city.

It started with elegant white lights... Are you ready to experience the magic of the Detroit Zoo in winter at my blog? :) Then, let's go!

Wow, "WILD LIGHTS"!?  Why is it called...?

Oh, I see. We can see wild animals here, what's more, they are mystic animals that emit incredible lights!

More than five million LED lights illuminate trees, buildings and 265 sculptures.

How romantic...⭐︎  I spent Christmas night alone in Japan, and now, selebrating winter holidays together with him. A tree covered with various colors is my heartfelt Christmas. Thank you for still being there.

It was December 30, 2018.  Collie showed Rose the illumination in Royal Oak.

Holiday entertainment

More than 220 out of 265 sculptures are animals.

Colorful, yet, refinement is a word to describe these tree illuminations.

Radiant swans...!  The pureness is breathtaking beauty.

I liked the stillness.

You can experience a spectacular light display in Royal Oak during the holiday season.

From my precious memories....

I hope you enjoyed WILD LIGHT at the Detroit Zoo through my pictures.

Joy, Peace, happiness and Love

ASTORIA PASTRY SHOP in Royal Oak winter lights

Night lights in Royal Oak, Michigan.

The light color is gradually changing into different one...  A cold night is colored blue and green when I press the shutter button.

Here it is!  ASTORIA PASTRY SHOP is also in Royal Oak! This is what I have been looking for since I visited the shop in Detroit.

It has an ambience. How wonderful it is, I could visit here in such a thrilling night!

Royal Oak is a city with a lot of students. It is a suburb in Detroit.

My heart is warm in the cold because I am with Collie.

I appreciate that he always goes out of his way to make sure I am comfortable when I'm together with him.

"If you want to eat it now, we can eat here.", he says.

To take away seems fine to me as he doesn't eat cake. But eating in this cozy place must be fun!

How tempting! I remember the deliciousness of Carrot Cake from this shop. I want to come back to ASTORIA PASTRY SHOP every time I visit Michigan.

Handmade!  Simply delicious!

My dream has been a cheesecake since I ate a small carrot cake (and it was soooo good!)

I'd like to...huh? Cheesecake is the same price as Strawberry Cheesecake?? Then I'll take Strawberry one. Is cake dough same, I wonder??

Collie "It looks same."

He got interested in "Key lime" Cheesecake. Wow...❤︎  So, he bought cakes for us.

I will show you 2 kinds of cheesecakes later when we eat at home.  See you then!

Powerful dark color! Royal Oak winter lights in Michigan

About 12-minute drive from Birmingham, yes! in Michigan -

We see the winter lights everywhere in the city of Royal Oak.

Dark green color is characteristic of this city!

Oh, how I love lighting displays all over town at this time of the year!

In Royal Oak, the several lights are all dark, and the feature is making this city shown differently from other cities in Michigan.

I always appreciate Collie, my official ^^ photographer, voluntarily takes pictures of mine.
He often says, "Stand there, Rose.", and takes a quick photo smartly.

Although I have been in Michigan many times, I think it's the first for me to see Royal Oak Christmas lights.

Dark green, dark blue, red, and vivid pink...

See? Even light blue is dark over there!

It was a mind winter evening. Of course it's cold, but there were no snow I expected in this season.

We will stay here for a while. There is a place Collie wants to take me to. People living in Michigan might have a guess, however, I save it till "after next time". I hope you'll come to visit me again here!
