I got many Protein Bars at Kroger! Would you take a peek?

A protein bars market is great in U.S.A.!
There are lots of variety to choose from.

American protein bars are popular among people who are health conscious in Japan.

In Japan, most protein bars contain trans fats like shortening and margarine, which are being used to make products at the lowest possible cost. We have to take trans fats too when we eat those bars bought with the hope of taking protein for our health. Japanese food industries are not doing what they are supposed to do.

It is a good chance to get natural protein bars when I visit Michigan!

I do love the concept of KIND, do the kind thing for your body, 

and elegant LUNA Bar, the first nutrition bar aimed at women. 

These bars are really helping me when I am working until late and don't have even time to go to buy something to eat. It is convenient that I can store them well.

The beauty of the bars is  -  it's tasty as well as nutritious and natural!

I was planed to bring back all these stuff to Japan. But, on the day I headed for Detroit International Airport, I forgot having an additional bag put the bars in! 😱 Oh my goodness!

Protein bars, that I got at Kroger with joy, ended up being sent to Japan from Michigan by Collie.

A beautiful lady who joined our workplace as a temporary staff, is now in Los Angels for her another interpreter job. She is thoughtful and asked me what she'd get there for me. I mentioned LUNA chocolate cupcake because iHerb doesn't provide it. I am looking forward to tasting it again, and sure she'll love it, too!

Collie is kind,  she is kind,  and I love KIND Bars💕

Individual pizzas are so cute❤︎ Pizza lunch at Red Knapp's AMERICAN GRILL

Red Knapp's is one of my favorite restaurants in Michigan.

This time, I visited the American restaurant with Collie to have a lunch together.

    

I loved it❤︎❤︎❤︎  It's pretty, isn't it?

Interestingly, as if I am introducing Red Knapp's to Collie because he isn't coming here even if he lives nearby.

Since I saw this pretty-sized pizza uploaded to gourmet food information on the internet, I have wanted to come here to have it actually.

Collie was not happy because an employee forgot cooking his pizza without mushrooms as he requested. ^^;

There are 3 sizes of pizzas, Small, Large, and "Ind."
The menu says Small 12" pizzas have 8 slices and Large 16" pizzas have 12 slices.

So...our pizzas must be "Ind.", they have 4 slices.
"Ind." means  "Individual"?? or "Independent"??

So far, I've had a hamburger, pasta, and pizza at Red Knapp's AMERICAN GRILL.
I'd love to taste a CHEESECAKE, too♪

Oh, well...I might come here alone because it seems that I like this restaurant more than he does..

Collie & Rose's footprints on powdery snow in Michigan

While I was staying in Michigan, he had been trying to stay away from his work as much as possible. It is very sweet of him. However, I was feeling I should study to improve myself during this holidays.

Here's what I came up with.

I got up early in the morning and read English articles I got interested in from his magazine. Also, looked over papers I brought from Japan, in which, some English words were written down to memorize.

White marshmallow, chocolate paste inside...♡  It is plump and like a snowball♪

We had a fine powdery snow that day.  Quiet, peaceful beauty created by pure white...

We went out to walk in the park.

We can tell by these footprints that Michigan people are enjoying walking in nature, on the ground slightly covered with snow.

I don't have proper shoes for snowy ground, though Collie said he'd buy them for me. My footprints are slight ones in the middle. Collie's are showing a "cross". And how adorable, look at dog's footprints!

Toss a fresh snow into the air!

I'm just thankful in being able to spend a simple day like today.

Each small things in Michigan are grateful for me. Michigan is a place he lives in.

Standing on the frozen lake in Michigan, the Great Lakes State

Every small town is rich in nature.

Be careful! But how fun it is to jog slowly not to slip on the icy grass.

Cold and crisp winter day in Michigan.

Feeling the air of nature, by jogging....and walking in a forest park.

Feel quite refreshed.

The power of nature is overwhelming. I realize how small I am.

The lake is frozen hard.

He, who lives in Michigan, tells me it's safe to stand on the frozen lake today.

Michigan means "large lake." There are a great number of lakes in Michigan, and small lakes are also seen here and there, everywhere.

The Great Lakes State!

His everyday Kroger is my daily life.

Waking in a forest park together, going grocery shopping together, and laughing together...

My heart is here in Michigan.
