Classy display of apples & 2021 Starbucks Christmas Blend

There are a lot of pictures I'd love to write about, yes, I do like blogging! If it is possible, I want to write every day. But I'm swamped with work on weekdays and my eyes get tired from using the computer continuously. I should rest my weary eyes after the long day. We need to take a digital break.

Today is Sunday. I chose some from my recent photos.

Wandering around the streets, I came across a classy display of apples. How charmingly they placed apples on display! The shop seems to be a florist. Going for a stroll to explore my surroundings, I enjoy looking at the architectures on the side streets as well as the main ones.

Christmas Blend is already in season at STARBUCKS.

I had a Starbucks employee grind 100g of coffee beans for home use. I purchased CHRISTMAS BLEND ESPRESSO ROAST. To my delight, she gave me CHRISTMAS BLEND DARK ROAST as a sample. I'm glad about it!

I'm not sure about "Bold & Decadent", however, it must be saying about Indulgence, I think.

Regarding 2021 CHRISTMAS BLEND of STARBUCKS, I like DARK ROAST better than ESPRESSO ROAST. CHRISTMAS BLEND DARK ROAST is elegantly aromatic, and CHRISTMAS BLEND ESPRESSO ROAST is a little flat for me.

Soothing coffee break outside BIO c' BON, the organic supermarket from Paris.

A little bit long walk from my place to Nakameguro.  Let me talk about my new habit this time.

Going for a walk in the city is good for your health, and it would be even more fun with a break in such a comfortable place.  It's my favorite thing to do!

BIO c' BON is an organic supermarket from Paris. When I come here, I often (always??) buy oat milk.

Terrace seats are only a few, so I was lucky to have got it to enjoy a fresh coffee I made at the self-service coffee area in BIO c' BON♪

The foaming black coffee was a great taste. How nice you can take away a cup of fine organic coffee only at 150yen(without tax)!  I tried a vegan oatmeal cookie, too. It was also good.

I visited BIO c' BON again on another day. It was a Sunday morning. Next to coffee machines, you can freely add soy milk to coffee. There is agave syrup too if you like. I enjoy black coffee itself first for a while, and then, return into the shop to add soy milk to coffee. (I am enjoying my coffee to the fullest...) A different kind of oatmeal cookie spiced with, like cinnamon and cardamon was tasty, too. I can go back home walking alongside Meguro River, or through the residential district as I please, whichever!

Brisk morning here might become a part of my daily routine...sometimes during the weekend.

Collie & Rose's white moon in the morning from each living place

Unusually for me, I woke up early last weekend. I looked out of the window, 

and saw a white moon in the gentle morning glow.

I sent this photo to Collie, and on the same day at night Japan time,

 I received a following photo from him. 

"White moon in early morning fog.", Collie wrote in his email. It was morning Michigan time.

I thought it's a breathtaking pale pink moment with a white moon in the morning!

The moon was almost full. The white moon he saw in Michigan is the same even if he is far away from Japan.

He went to sleep seeing my white moon picture in Tokyo, and when woke up on the next morning, he took his white moon in Michigan. I felt his own natural kindness from it.

It was the way he showed his love. 

The silence of the night - God - Making my intention

In the veil of darkness of the night, I fall asleep.

I like keeping the drapes open when I go to bed.

Huge dish & great value! Wontan noodles @KOSHUICHIBA GOTANDA

Hi, I am starting a gluten-free diet, but I introduce a good wontan noodles restaurant called KOSHUICHIBA（広州市場）in Gotanda to you.

You can choose salt or soy source for the soup broth. I chose soy source😀  As you can see, wontan and needles in broth are plenty. The noodles are rather thin and the soup is kind of light.

A small rice bowl topped with braised pork is included in the lunch set. I got greedy😅 and ordered as a set. Oh, I am so full!!! Maybe I can order just a regular rice bowl sometime? The pork was juicy and delicious.

The service is fast, and the staff kindly explains how to taste wontan to the customers. With a variety of seasoning like this♪  It's worth experiencing once if you are interested in wontan noodles.

This Chinese style restaurant that specializes in wontan noodles is a chain. If you see 広州市場（KOSHUICHIBA）, that is it.   Wanna try some?  So keep it in mind😘

The things I am grateful for where I live ＋ my hope

One of the things I appreciate is, I can get 2 packs of strawberries for 500 yen on sale at shunpachi(旬八) in seadon. Each strawberry is small, but I'm fine with it. It is cute❤︎

Fresh strawberries in my own eco bag♪  You know, bags are now no longer free at the shop in Japan.

I always carry a useful gusseted bag that can put foods flat.

Another one of the things I'm grateful for is, there are still a lot of US$100 bills, which Collie sent me in the past even if I said "Don't!".  Now each time, I am changing a US$100 bill into Japanese yen when the rate is favorable. I will carefully use his money.   

He sent me these over and over again for my flying to Michigan, my new Mac, or getting a driver's license... I used to find his envelope with his message in my mail box some time after returning to Japan.

Lately, Collie has visited Beaumont Troy Hospital to get some blood tests. On the other hand, I don't remember when was the last time I went to the doctor except an annual medical checkup. About 20 years ago, maybe? Although I can't say I have no problem at all with my health, I am doing without the hospital. Oh, but of course, I go to the dentist. 

I wish I could make a healthy food for him. I just want his health, God!

Taking a walk to Ebisu and trying a stylish cafe M / HOUSE, and more☆

Hi guys, today, I'm writing this blog at STARBUCKS with a cup of Caffe Americano, which I've never done in my life!  Here is a story when I walked to Ebisu from my living place. 

Firstly, I walked to Meguro that is an elegant town I love, and then headed for Ebisu. This is Mita Bridge leading from Meguro to Ebisu. 

Then I passed through outside Ebisu Garden Place. Speaking of Ebisu, the first thing that comes to mind is almost it. Those European style buildings are gorgeous and impressive, but somehow, I can't imagine myself living in this large city. It's more of a city I want to visit only occasionally than where to live.

What is that atmospheric building? They sell cakes on the first floor and the second floor is a French restaurant, maybe? On the way to the cafe I was looking for, it caught my eyes. There is something new I discover in the walk.

Going down the slope...  The cafe I searched for online must be it!

M / HOUSE    EBISU HILLSIDE

Even if taking summer holidays, I can't fly to Michigan, nor any other foreign countries in the time of COVEID-19. Visiting a nice cafe like this is one of the way I feel like I'm on a vacation.

Seeing this interior, where do you imagine you are? :)

Freshly made brioche French toast is a signature of M / HOUSE. It is so moist and fluffy. I ordered A  - marinated salmon and egg including French toast as a set. The price is 1,900 yen and I felt salmon and others must be good quality.

This cafe has such a laid-back atmosphere as well as luxuriousness. I know I won't be a regular customer here, however, it'd be wonderful if I could bring someone to enjoy the vibe with.

I was luckily offered a large table without a reservation. I saw small table seats were reserved for 2 girls. So just dropping by might be better unless you definitely want to eat foods here. I found some other cafes that also looked good near M / HOUSE. You can try them if all tables are full.

Ebisu has a lot of trendy cafes!
